Starbucks Is Honoring Our Veterans This Week With Your Help

The men and women who serve in our military are truly amazing people. These men and women devote years of their lives (if not their whole lives) to serving our country and ensuring the American liberties that our country is known for. Whether they are on the frontlines of battle, teaching in military hospitals, filing paperwork in an office setting, or mopping the deck of a ship, every person counts, and every one of them deserves a huge freakin’ high five!

With Veteran’s Day approaching, Starbucks couldn’t agree more. The coffee company is rolling out three initiatives to say thanks to our men and women in the military branches, both past and active duty. If there’s anything anyone needs, it’s caffeine, and we’re sure that those men and women in bootcamp waking up at ungodly hours need it more than we do!

Between Nov. 1 and Nov. 11, if you purchase a $5 gift card at Starbucks, the company will donate $5 to three non-profits that serve veterans: The Mission Continues, Team Rubicon, and Team Red White and Blue. Additionally, if you want to make sure our men and women overseas stay just as caffeinated as we are, and you’re a fan of Starbucks VIA instant coffee, make sure you purchase them online. Every online purchase of VIA will be matched and shipped to military units overseas.

Wrapping up their Veteran’s Day giveback extravaganza on Veteran’s Day itself, any veteran, active duty military, and active duty military spouse can pop into a Starbucks and get a free tall coffee. Let’s caffeinate our troops!
